Co-founded by Bari Finkel and Gabrielle Lewis in 2025, Same Boat collaborates with creative people who want to make engaging audio and video podcasts. We’re based in Brooklyn and Los Angeles.

We’re Gabrielle and Bari, an executive producing team with over a decade of experience making genre-defining, award-winning, and chart-topping podcasts.

Same Boat is renowned for our work in the tv companion podcast space. We’re behind hit podcasts like: The Official Game of Thrones Podcast: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, The Official Game of Thrones Podcast: House of the Dragon, The Five Star Weekend Official Podcast, and the final season of The Official Hacks Podcast. We launched our first original podcast, What The Heck?! with Matt Bellassai in May 2026.

Before launching Same Boat, we were at the helm of many of your favorite tv companion podcasts, including The Severance Podcast with Ben Stiller and Adam Scott, HBO’s Succession Podcast, HBO’s Chernobyl Podcast, and Apple TV’s Foundation: The Official Podcast.

We’re driven by curiosity, a love of collaboration, and the magic that happens when a group of people create something together. Whether it’s related to television, filmmaking, entertainment, music, pop culture, arts, comedy, or a subject we have yet to fall in love with, we strive to produce high quality, thoughtful, and specialized shows.
